For this reason and this reason alone, I give it 2 stars instead of 1 Review: Device has minor keyboard and mouse issues - So the device is great, except for two glaring problems. First, if you use this device with a keyboard that does not have a dedicated number section, you won’t be able to use the hot keys. Second, if you “turn off synchronization” on MacOS while using a mouse that has right click capability, the mouse goes into a specific mode that has the right click turned on automatically, making the mouse unusable. However, with an extra step of pressing *+F9, you can fix this problem. The last problem is more of a me problem. It seems like one of the screws was not a Phillips head so I couldn’t remove it to get to the “white ribbon” that you can remove to completely disable synchronization. I’m sure this would not have solved my MacOS problem but the seller believed that it would. KVM switches are the best tool for multiple computing. Paneling monitors is dumb. For the price, this product is an excellent find if you’re willing to do some small extra steps to make it work for you.
