Keeps waking us up.** A: I think every smoke alarm will have a periodic flashing light which is a confirmation that the alarm is correctly powered (i.e. battery life is ok or mains connection is good) and is functioning properly. I don’t think that there is a solution other than repositioning or relocating the alarm. **Q: Is it ok for use in static caravans** A: This unit can be used in a Caravan, however it is not advisable to install smoke alarms in the kitchen area to avoid false alarms. Diagram of baseplate in user manual is different from one supplied.
