Excellent Tool. - i had a tricky situation with a stud that needed to be removed without causing further damage than had already been done by the gorilla that installed it. funny thing is i already had one of these stud removers i bought about 45 years ago. although I’ve never ever managed to remove anything with it, its still knocking around in my toolbox, mostly just for the nostalgia of it. Anyway when i started looking for something to do the job i saw this version. I immediately clocked the teeth on the wheel which grabs the stud. my old one, (British made btw) had just some checkering on the wheel. i read a few reviews and ordered it for the next morning. I took the opportunity to make sure i had sprayed plenty of wd40 the night before. I also put some tape around the stud to help the wheel bite into something. the offending stud was out in seconds, no damage. very very pleased. I have no idea about the manufacturer or where it is made but this is a quality tool and puts my old one to absolute shame, very good value too.
