I carefully measured my daughters head and she was a middling medium. I got the Cyan color. In the picture it has a pink strap and a black peak. The item that came had a blue strap and a white peak. Of course it was the pink with blue that made my daughter pick this out. She also wanted the peak to be removable. It is but it leaves behind Velcro on the inside of the helmet that sticks to her hair. Even worse with the peak it is too tight and without it it is too loose. There is no additional pads to attached as is usually the case with helmets.
