This isn't for locking your Van Gough to your Porsche while you are out of the country. But if you have realistic expectations, there's very little to dislike about this lock. It's reasonable sturdy, and the two parts hang together even when unlocked, making it much easier to handle and arguably harder to pick. Setting your own code is trivial, and I like being able to tweak the numbers from the back side while leaving the front digits visible. I had issues getting it between some VERY tight spokes on a scooter, but you can (with effort/alcohol) remove the shackle liner and the loop is painted so there's some scratch protection.
