And before you ask, I have the BIOS set correctly. **Q: Will this work with the asrock x399m taichi motherboard?** A: Depending on the CPU you use it may not be necessary. Apparently the Ryzen CPUs include a TPM. There is an AMD fTPM setting in the BIOS, ref this manual: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/X399M%20Taichi.pdf Otherwise the manual references TPM 2.0 which would have been current before this board was released.
