This has been great for filling watering cans during the hose pipe ban. I’ve used a short length of hose (18”) with this on the end to fill the cans. The quarter turn shut off is so convenient to having to close down the main tap each time the can is full.

This works well, with no noticeable leaking. It allows me to change attachments on the hose, or switch between them and the pressure washer without having to go back to the tap and turn it off, or deal with getting sprayed with water.
