The feature that tipped the balance for me was the Bluetooth connection for my laptop PC, to avoid direct cabling - and it worked fine, straightaway, hassle-free. The sound is good enough for my ears, with decent bass from the subwoofer and clarity in the higher tones. Perhaps it would benefit from a separate volume control for the woofer, but I've not really needed it.
