It is a boxy fit, which she did not care for, as she would be using it for day to day wear and not Arctic exploration. However, I find the quality to be exceptional. It is the most beautifully made coat I have ever seen. Having grown up in Chicago, I know what features are important for cold weather protection. I was especially impressed that the hood was lined, and would be also very warm. The buttons are attached with cloth tabs and will not fall off. Here are a few features that I require: removable hood, form fitting, and pockets with the opening on an angle versus horizontal. I bought dawson, victoria and trillium.
