I tried vinegar but still smell** A: Boil 2/3 full of water. Add tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and leave overnight. This worked for us for three weeks then smell came back. The kettle is very quiet (quietest kettle I have had to date) when boiling and the time to boil is very good as well.
