No problems so far. **Q: Can this be used on a wood canvas that will hang outside as long as gloss will be applied over the entire peice?** A: No unless you get some of that marine or boat sealant from a hardware store. Otherwise, it it will chop off and the picture will fade. But this, by far, is my favorite. It spreads and peaks like vanilla icing and is ideal for creating "hair," "flower petals," "tree bark," "candle flames" and almost any kind of textured surface you are looking to make. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive. Over the years the price has almost doubled, although I have been using it for many years. But it's such a pleasure to work with, very pliable, with easy clean-up, and doesn't need firing. And it's so much fun!
