Stop Cold Chimney Draughts Coming Down Your Chimney Put an end to draughty rooms by installing a Chimsoc. You'll instantly feel warmer, just by stopping the draughts from coming down your chimney stack. Stop Warm Room Air Escaping Up Your Chimney It works both ways. Cold air sinks and warm air rises. This means that your warm room air is escaping up your chimney stack, every minute of every day. Reduce Outside Noise Coming Down Your Stack If you live in a noisy area, with perhaps heavy traffic, you'll get a lot of noise coming down your chimney stack. A Chimsoc is instantly going to reduce the amount of noise entering your room. How Your Chimney Works Your chimney works on very simple principles, warm air rises, and cold air sinks. This is great when you have a fire burning, enabling the smoke to escape to the atmosphere. It's not so great when you don't have a fire burning however. The same principal is still working; your warm room air is escaping up the chimney stack, and cold outside air is coming down the chimney, causing draughts. The Chimsoc is the simple yet effective answer to these problems. We've made it curved at one end as well, ensuring that you always have a little ventilation in your chimney stack. Ho provato 3 volte e poi mi sono arresa e l’ho riconsegnato. Assolutamente inutile. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple, Effective, and a Real Heat Saver *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 January 2026* I wasn’t sure a CHIMSOC Balloon for Chimney could make much difference, but after using it this past season I’m genuinely impressed. This chimney balloon is incredibly easy to install β€” just inflate it in your flue when the fireplace isn’t in use. It creates a solid seal that stops cold drafts, birds, and even dust from entering the living space. My room feels noticeably warmer and more comfortable ### ⭐ Cannot recommend - it fails to stay inflated. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 January 2025* Had this for approximately one month now and I have re-inflated it 4 times already hence I am disappointed as it is not doing the job as intended. I have been very careful to make sure the "balloon" has no chance of a puncture and use a small electric pump to inflate it as I did not want to have moisture/expansion problems associated with breath - it has made no difference. I do not know whether the valve is at fault or the balloon itself. I thought this would be a neat/convenient solution but now I may have to cut some OSB to insert instead. Therefore, I cannot recommend, it has been a waste of money. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/504008275-balloon-for-chimney-large-rectangle-90cm-x-38cm-36-x](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/504008275-balloon-for-chimney-large-rectangle-90cm-x-38cm-36-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
