The broom attaches to the handle of the dustpan and they can stand up together which is great for our rented flat, as we're unable to put a hanging hook in the wall. The "teeth" in the dustpan is great for combing through the brush to tease out hairs and dust. The whole thing is light,but very sturdily made. Very very pleased with my purchase!

**Q: What is the height of the dustpan from handle to floor please?**
A: When pan is folded up to put away with broom attached = 99cm
When pan is open flat to floor with broom attached = 90cm
Brush fully extended = 137cm

**Q: would this work well on a kitchen wooden floor?**
A: I'm very pleased with the product and the rubber strip on dustpan meets the floor on mine, heard complaints that it doesn't on some. Yes, perfect for wooden floors.

**Q: can you give me the height of the handles when retracted and when extended, please?**
A: 35 inches retracted and an amazing 53 inches extended. Very useful for reaching under tables and cabinets.

**Q: I'm buying this because of the "comb" to remove hair and dustballs from the broom - did it work well for you?**
A: The comb does work. The bristles get a fair bit of fluff and hair trapped in them, the comb removes quite a lot of that, I do tend to wash the brush under the tap sometimes, which helps keep it in good shape. We have hectic child filled home and the brush gets used a lot. Works well.

Love it! Excellent quality as always from OXO Good Grips. Excellent pan and broom set, I only knocked off a star because (IMO) the brush head is a little small, and the bristles have been resting slightly on one side so they are sort-of squashed in on one side. Other than that, it works really well, it's easy to extend and the pan clicks into place in a satisfactory way. Recommended.
