This type of scissor is useful for giving a non-fraying edge to fabric, and makes the inside of your garments look neater if you're not lucky enough to own an overlocker. They are also useful for general fabric craft - cutting shapes, such as bunting etc. These Fiskars scissors are comfortable to hold and not too heavy (years ago I had some all-metal pinking shears which weighed a ton and were awkward to use). The action is smooth and the finished result is crisp and tidy.
