With a useful width of 72 cm, it fixes neatly onto the wall to provide a useful drying space for inside the home, ideal for the bathroom, kitchen or utility area or outside on the balcony. The Telegant 36 Protect Plus opens by swinging the two side arms out and pulling out the 5 steel drying rails, each 60 cm in length. The side arms are strong and support the rails as they extend out. To close, push away the laundry-free rails and fold the arms closed. The arms then cover the rails leaving a neat and tidy box on the wall. The aluminium rail is not disturbed when opening/closing the dryer’s rails so towels may be left in place. The rails are rustproof, making it a durable and practical option for drying within the bathroom or outside. Dimensions: W 72 x D 37 cm. Easy open/close Easily open by swinging the two strong side arms out and pulling out the steel drying rails. When not in use, push away the laundry-free rails and fold the arms closed. 5 pull-out rails The 5 pull-out steel drying rails, each 60 cm long, offers 3.6 m of drying length. Enough for at least one wash-load. Also rustproof, giving a practical and durable option for drying in a bathroom or outside. Towel rail Conveniently situated beneath the drying rails is an aluminium rail to hang items such as towels on. It is not disturbed when opening/closing the dryer’s rails so items can be left in place. Space-saving The wall mounted Telegant airer is a space-saving, compact dryer. When not in use the airer folds flat against the wall storing neatly away. Review: Excellent! - I chose this towel rail because I had space problems - small rooms, lots of furniture. It was an excellent choice! It works very well, and my house looks more organized, now. It also looks good, although a bit fragile (I will be careful and hope it lasts years). Update (27 Mar 2019): Rectifying what I wrote above, this clothes dryer is very sturdy and durable! It is now 5 years old and it seems that it will last forever (I bought two more for my daughter and upstairs)! Additionally, I thought about its 'flimsiness' and concluded that it is what explains its sturdiness, like the flexible palm trees that resist cyclones (I have a degree in architectural engineering). Great design! Review: Surprisingly Impressive - Never know what to expect with these sorts of "home solutions" as they can be hit and miss, this is actually pretty good. I did use some heftier wall plugs/screws than those provided just to ensure the weight of wet clothes could be supported and so far so good, it's solid. Ok the plastic could be a little better quality but overall it's a clever design that is easy to open/put away quickly, plus it holds a surprising amount of clothes on it. The best part is when not in use my kitchen now has far more space as the clothes airer I was using was far more hassle to put up/down, and it folds away into an unobtrusive fitting on the wall. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for an alternative to the traditional clothes airer, can't go wrong! ## Features - Indoor and Outdoor Use - The compact size and robust nature of this collapsible clothes drying rack means it can be placed anywhere, both indoors and outdoors - Large surface - This large drying space laundry drying rack has 5 rails with a total drying length of 3.0 m plus a 60 cm aluminum bar, perfect as a towel rail - Strong and Robust - Made from strong and durable materials, this laundry rack from Leifheit will be long-lasting and always make sure you have clean laundry - Folds up easily - We made this towel rack wall mounted so it can quickly be pulled out when needed or folded away into a compact and discreet housing when not in use - Saving electricity in the home - natural drying without electricity, using the Leifheit wall-mounted dryer, saves energy and protects the environment and laundry too - Product details - Leifheit Telegant 36 Protect Plus wall dryer (72 x 37 x 14 cm), mounting screws included, Colour - White, Item no. - 83201 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000JG1KPY | | Assembly Instructions Description | Wall mount instructions included | | Best Sellers Rank | 49,726 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 10 in Wall-Mounted Dry Racks | | Brand | Leifheit | | Brand Name | Leifheit | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 18,528 Reviews | | Dish Drying Rack Location | Wall Mounted | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00047738832015, 04006501832016 | | Included Components | 1 x wall dryer, 1 pack screws | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 72D x 37W x 14H centimetres | | Item Weight | 960 Grams | | Manufacturer | Leifheit | | Manufacturer Part Number | 83201-6 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 3 years. | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | 83201 | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Mounting type | Wall Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product dimensions | 72D x 37W x 14H centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drying Laundry | | Recommended uses for product | Drying Laundry | | Size | 3.6 m | | Special Features | Retractable | | UPC | 047738832015 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Weight Capacity Maximum | 27 Pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Leifheit - **Colour:** White - **Item weight:** 960 Grams - **Manufacturer:** Leifheit - **Material:** Metal - **Mounting type:** Wall Mount - **Product dimensions:** 72D x 37W x 14H centimetres - **Recommended uses for product:** Drying Laundry - **Special feature:** Retractable - **Weight limit:** 27 Pounds ## Images ![Wall-Mounted Clothes Dryer Telegant 36 Protect Plus, 3.6 m Drying Length - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61FXcmj+lOL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: When fully extended what is the measurement from wall?** A: Hi Ann, Just measured for you. The arms themselves are 47cm and if you put the tape measure to the wall and measure to the end of the arm when opened it is 54cm. It is really neat when folded up and seems to be quite sturdy even though I thought it wouldn't be, even with bath sheets etc on. **Q: Hi.. can this be put up on any wall (i.e. internal plasterboarded wall) or does it have to be an externl super strong wall?** A: Hi, we have fitted it to an internal plaster boarded wall. Although it's ideal to attach to wooden battens behind plaster board, we couldn't find any battens so had to rely on plaster board only. We used a really good expansion screw/fitment (we used metal ones that open out (behind the plaster board) as you screw the screw in). I hang 3 or 4 pairs of jeans plus all the other clothes on the hanger at once and do not have a problem. Just need to be careful not to pull down on clothes too heavily. Hope this helps :-) **Q: Do you have to pull this out full length or can you use it only partially extended?** A: probably best to pull out the full length as it clips into place then.....just checked you can leave it Β½ way but the 2 side bars are out anyway so not much point in not pulling out the rails Β½ way .... **Q: Can it be used outside** A: Very much so! Mine is on the outside wall of the house. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent! *by B***M on 15 June 2014* I chose this towel rail because I had space problems - small rooms, lots of furniture.
