Easy to clean with removal parts and easy reassemble. Ideal for frappe's and slushy's or any other application that requires shaved Ice. Come with two settings of Ice shaving. Fine or Course... but both are pretty much the same. Due to the nature of the Products' job, do not be alarmed by the noise of the operation. You are cutting hard blocks of ice. It is bound to make some noise! Good product. Ideal for winter and Summer use. Review: Great for the whole family - After a few bad buys I was a bit reluctant to try this but there was no need! Setting it up and using it is very easy and has made making slushies for the kids a doddle. I use crushed ice from the shops instead of ice cubes; it's easier to fit into my freezer and I can feed it into the machine better. I've only used the fine setting as we like having shaved ice for snow cones and slushies. It works well for both purposes but we like to add the syrup and some water after using the machine when making slushies. The ice that comes out obviously isn't as fine as a store bought slushie, so we feel this makes it a bit easier to drink. We also like being able to choose our own syrup flavour, which is harder to do when mixing the syrup straight in the machine.
