I'm a very small woman, 5 ft., 91 lbs. The xsmall was actually too small, too tight. I could zipper it but it was so tight, not comfortable. So I ordered a small, which fit perfectly. I will always be wearing the jacket over another top. The fit is very flattering. On me, the jacket hits just below the waist, right above my hips. It's just slightly longer in the front than in the back. So the back looks so great as that does sit almost at my waist. The sleeve length seems a little long but they actually are the perfect length to use the thumb holes without any pulling or seeming like they're too short. The fabric is very nice, soft and smooth. I love the fact there are two zippered pockets as well as a hidden pocket inside. Update: I love this jacket. I've had the black one for quite a while now. I can say that it washes and dries beautifully. I know there had been some comments about the zipper not being the greatest. My zipper is fine but I do find that you have to just make sure that the one side of the zipper is all of the way down in before you zip up. I'm updating my review because I decided to get a colored one. I ordered several different ones, the lilac/dusty rose color, the teal color, then the hibiscus purple, and sparkle blue. All of the colors were true to what's shown and they were beautiful. For me, I decided on the hibiscus purple and sparkle blue. They're fabulous! Of course, same great jacket. The fit is exceptional and the cut is so flattering. If you're thinking about getting a colored one, don't hesitate. They'll add an awesome pop of color to your outfit! Very classy. I bought it in white for the summer months and since I already have a lot of black zips. I am 5'4", 139lbs and my bust is 38", waist 28" and I went with the size large just because I wanted it to be a tiny bit roomy and not snug. It fits just right. The sleeves are a tiny bit long on me because it is the larger size, but I don't mind it.
