**Q: What is the phosphorus content.**
A: According to the box "phosphorus 0.12%". Hope this helps - It's one my 15 year old oriental cat with kidney and thyroid problems likes!  Since being on a renal function diet - this plus other purina varieties his kidney function has improved.

**Q: How easy is this for a cat to eat with poorly teeth who can't eat chunks very well?**
A: It does come in chunks with gravy, but how easy those chunks are to eat with bad teeth, I don’t know. My elderly cat has had all his back teeth removed and he eats everything including biscuits with no trouble. Unfortunately, he refused to eat this food - he didn’t like the smell of it so he didn’t even try it! Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

**Q: Why is this called 'salmon' when salmon appears below other meats in the ingredients list? Also, in the description, it says the flavour is chicken!**
A: If the package is pink the flavour is Salmon. 
If the package is yellow the flavour is Chicken.
I have been feeding my cat these for over a year.

**Q: Is this meaty or in chunks ?**
A: Hi its the same as Royal Canin Renal that i use. so an 1/8" x 1/4". oblong pieces by say 1/16" deep. Mine prefers tuna or chicken. But tried this and seemed ok. But it didnt replace so I went back to RC. It was more fluidy tho. Which my cat likes. Because of his ailment I now mix with these soups you can get to give extra moisture. I have stopped with dry.

My ancient cat has recently been diagnosed with early stage kidney failure. The vet recommended Royal Canin Tuna wet food but she would not eat it, even though I was mixing in some of her usual food to try to disguise the taste. She has lost a lot of weight & clearly very miserable & getting weaker. Vet said she must put on more weight, but how can you do that if your cat won't eat the food? I was at my wit's end to be honest. So I tried the Purina Salmon Wet Diet & what a relief! I mixed a wee bit of her usual food in as before and she cleaned the plate. It was great to see her enjoy her meal instead of sniffing it suspiciously & walking away. She wolfed it down. The most she's eaten in days, and I was at last able to administer her meds (liquid mixed in with food). Now sleeping contentedly on her heated pad & hopefully she will continue to like this food. I knocked off one star as the supplier sent Chicken flavour originally which I had not ordered & which she won't like, so I had the palaver of sending it back & also I was concerned at the extra delay this caused, given that my pet was unwell. However, I reordered the salmon again & the correct order came this time. The box contained the 10 pouches, but it looked like the box had been tampered with or damaged & sellotaped together again. I have ordered more of this product, so hopefully everything will be fine on that front & I will get a pristine box. The main thing is my cat continues to enjoy the food & that it will benefit her health, & every cat owner knows this is the main battle when changing their feline friend's diet. Well done Purina, I am a happy customer as is my cat. Please keep supplying this product SALMON flavour on Amazon. Thank you.
