I am an experienced dowser and was a little concerned about some of the other reviews but in my case, the pendulum was of good quality rose quartz with a decent chain properly attached, a rose quartz ball and a carry pouch. The pendulum is exactly the size I would have expected for dowsing work - around 3 cm long. It's of a suitable weight for the job. The quartz is quite heavily varnished and while this looks nice and has protected the stone in transit, I think it affected the sensitivity of the stone just a little at first. After two months, the the pendulum has now become attuned to its new owner and lost its excessive shine. It's great for dowsing work and for connection to guides, the inner planes and healing. Also very calming to have in your pocket or to hold, discreetly if need be, when you are feeling stressed. Suitable for those looking for a pendulum with a calming effect, good for meditation and healing pain or distress.
