But one thing I can say for these pear drops is that they taste just like the old fashioned pear drops. Plus the bonus is you can enjoy the flavour without the extra sugar and calories. The only downside to the sweets, which is the same for the same type of sugar free product. Is that you cannot consume too many in one go (unless you plan to be popping to the toilet quite often!). Or you could try boiling a sealed tin of Condenced Milk,in water,that turns into Caramel.You can buy Butterscotch sauce,you know,you do'nt have to mess up a pan. **Q: Are these suitable for vegetarians** A: Sorry, I do not know if these sweets are suitable for vegetarians **Q: How many calories are there in each sweet?** A: I've checked inline and it's 9 calories per sweet **Q: Are the fruit mix vegan?** A: Not sure, I don’t have a box in the Mixed Fruits flavour to check… They are vegetarian and dairy free though.
