Review: This product will help you! - This product will help you if your problem is caused by too much computer work. I am so glad that I discovered this item! As one who works on the computer quite a bit, my eyes were beginning to give me a fit. As soon as I begin taking Lutein Blue I had relief. My eyes were so badly affected - blurred vision, double lights, pain, and dryness—were improved immensely and immediately! The improvement was so swift, that I was amazed. I take Lutein Blue nearly every day and have also purchased an anti-blue screen for my computer and no longer have any of the vision problems that I had before. I highly recommend this item from this manufacture – it is qualitative and does what it says! (P.S. I bought my blue light clear filter from desertcart too!)

Per what I've read, lutein collects on the retina, and I have very weak vision for a 39 year old. I was experiencing eye dryness and needle like pain, so I reordered and received the same day. The next day, although my left eye is still slightly blurred with correction, the pain and dryness is gone. I have no doubt that everything will be cleared up in a few days. The price has gone up a bit, but that's everything now, right? These pills are worth it!

**Q: Is the gelatin in this product plant or animal based?**
A: My informed guess is that it is animal-based. There is no specific information on the side of the bottle to indicate the source of the gelatin. However, given the specificity of the description of what is NOT in the softgels ("Non-GMO, No Artificial Color, No Artificial Flavor, No Preservatives, No Sugar, No Starch, No Milk, No Lactose, No Gluten, No Wheat, No Yeast, No Fish. Sodium Free."), and the fact that it does not indicate "No Animal Products," I conclude that the gelatin is from animals. I went to the Nature's Bounty website and found similar information about their fish oil. A web search turned up someone who called NB and was told that their gelatin source was bovine. I have not personally called Nature's Bounty to confirm.

**Q: How is this different from ordinary lutein?**
A: Nature’s Bounty® Lutein Blue contains Lutemax® 2020, a  premium lutein formula containing higher levels of zeaxanthin than free lutein products. It helps filter out damaging blue light and improves eye health when using digital devices.* Our bodies cannot make lutein or zeaxanthin, and the natural stores of these carotenoids in the body may decrease as we age. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too costly

I’ve been buying these for a few years now. The cost keeps inching up. Now the price has more than doubled up to 18 dollars for 30 tablets. Outrageous. Although they’re easy to swallow and have the blue light protection, they’re way too costly. You can adjust the blue light on your phone, tablet, computer and my readers already have blue light protection. Won’t be buying this particular lutein anymore due to cost. Other brands are available for much less.
