Most Juveniles should receive about 1/16th of an ounce or a dime size portion. Subadults should receive 1/8th of an ounce or a nickel sized portion. An adult should receive a quarter to about a half ounce portion. **Q: Why shouldn't I freeze the diet to help it last longer?** A: The ice crystals that form during the freezing process can potentially damage the cell walls of the plant ingredient contents and reduce the overall nutritional value of the diet. **Q: Why does the unrefrigerated prepared feed expire after a day?** A: The prepared feed can be compared to a fruit smoothie. A fruit smoothie sitting in a humid tropical environment like a gecko terrarium will not last as long as it would while refrigerated. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Crested Gecko’s Go-To Food *by C***Y on August 24, 2026* Pangea has been our go-to food for our crested gecko for the past five years.
