It's a FANTASTIC product. I bought it to drown out the sound of my lawnmower, or at least quiet the sound enough so that I could actually hear what I was listening to. Plus, my ear buds were constantly falling out. Not a good thing when you're mowing the lawn... For the price, I wasnt sure what I'd get - in terms of quality. I had done research though, and this one has excellent reviews...but still not sure what to believe. I was thrilled to discover the reviews were correct. Not only does it drown out the sound of my mower, but it's relatively easy to use, once you're familiar with it. But the most impressive detail is the sound. You can turn it quite loud, with plenty of room to go louder...all without the normal distortion, or the awkward bass sounds. I only wish I'd purchased it sooner...I wish I could help you more...but as Amazon seemed to want me to answer your question, I figured I might as well give you my thoughts on the quality. The only thing I might consider is that if the headphone is capable of blocking out most external noise, so you aren't bothered by it while trying to listen to whatever you might be listening to.. I would imagine it would also at least help to ensure that your music isn't bleeding out too much. It may not block it entirely, but I can't imagine it's that bad. Instead, I used my MUCH more expensive wireless ear-buds that constantly dropped their signal and, worse, dropped out of my ears. I ended up having to create what looked like some strange tribal headpiece, intended to hold the ear-buds in place. Needless to say, it didn't work...and NOW I'm "that" neighbor....So, when I began the search for something better, and came across THIS over-the-ear headphone and it's high ratings, I was immediately suspicious. However...after I read all of the reviews, and then compared them to the VERY low price of $24.00, I was sold. I mean, what did I have to lose? The answer was nothing, in case you hadn't figured that out yet.What I WASN'T expecting, though, was all that I'd gain by giving these things a try. I've only given the noise cancellation and battery length features a 4-star rating because I just haven't had time to make those judgments. But....I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they're at LEAST as good as my ear buds...but likely MUCH better.What I CAN tell you, with 100% certainty, is that the sound is incredible. For a headphone costing $24.00, you expect (or maybe DON'T expect) a few things... very spotty connection (at BEST), only satisfactory sound, if that...very limited features...and they, almost certainly, aren't gonna be comfortable, especially with any extended use. Oh, and they'll also probably be a bit annoying to set up.All I can tell you is the truth, as I see it. After the 1st week back in August, we realized the extra noise of hearing the kids in their classrooms was making it impossible to focus on our jobs while we're all under the same roof.I've had a mindblowing experience with Tribit products, we've used their StormBox speaker for the last couple of years and still rave about it, buy for friends as gifts. Clearly their sound engineers are killer, so we felt confident when buying the headphones. They didn't fail to deliver on this product. Every other headphone we'd bought for travel before finding Tribit's products were dead in one ear after 2-3 months, kids can be brutal on hardware.I originally setup their Chromebooks to use these over bluetooth, but the kids kept forgetting to charge the headset. Not a problem - they work and sound just as good using the supplied wire, so if you forget to charge or they die in mid-use, you can use the supplied 3.5mm wire while using the charging cable simultaneously.MY ONLY BEEF: We bought two of these, one for each kid. The supplied 3.5mm audio cable supplied with the headphones is sub-par - it's too short, and the quality isn't great. It's the one and only weak part of this package, After 2 months of use, the cable stopped allowing sound to one speaker, the other headset had the same issue at 4months. Replacing the cable with a cheap, nicer 6ft braided 3.5mm cable from CableCreation and Olboytech here on Amazon resolved the monaural problem immediately.I'm not sure why Tribit couldn't supply a better, longer 5ft-6ft braided nylon 3.5mm cable instead of the cheap 3ft-4ft rubber one we received. I would recommend if you're reading this and plan to buy these headphones - as you should! - you may want to proactively buy a longer, more-sturdy 3.5mm cable for those times when you may need to plug up.Despite this one oversight, I'm still giving this a 5-star rating, I'd give it 6 stars if I could, it's that good.
