I bought these on an offer and am still amazed at the value (£27 at the time of purchase). They installed easily using Devolo's "Cockpit" software for PC. They have a pass-through 13 amp socket on the front so you don't lose a wall socket after you've plugged them in. Also the built in mains socket has a filter on it remove any "noise" generated by devices you may plug into it. They provide up to 500Mbs link-speed which is more than enough for my needs. At home I have 4 Devolo Homeplugs (500s and 1200s) over 2 ring circuits and all work fine though one position is a bit poorer. At another address I have a 500 plugged into the ring circuit, connected to the router and an elderly 200 equivalent of this in the garage to provide WiFi there and for the garden. The garage has its own new little RCD-protected consumer unit and is connected to the house's consumer unit via a 25 to 30 metre long radial circuit. I get a 70-80Mb connection to the router. A neighbour had read that such a set-up would not work so tried mine. Their summerhouse/hut is almost 40 metres from their house, also on a separate radial circuit and got a 65Mb connection. They then bought a TP-Link faster (?1200Mb) equivalent set and get a connection to the router of a few hundred Mb. Note that house wiring varies and this may not work in every case but both properties are old (~1860 and 1900) with wiring at least 25 years old. **Q: Is this compatible with tp-link adapters?** A: Yes **Q: Bought an extra unit in May 21 & all worked fine but last week it stopped working just getting flashing red led, Any ideas ?** A: Have you tried disconnecting and leaving out for 5 minutes and then putting back in ? i sometimes find that like computers they appreciate being turned off completely and restarted. Very highly recommeded. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but big *by D***R on 8 July 2022* These items are good but BIG. They are very easy to use and setup and are pretty much ready out of the box although you'll quite likely want to use a downloadable app to configure them to your preferred WiFi name and password. They work well and speeds are good. Main gripe is the size of them. Main plug is not as big as those giving off wifi and with extra network ports but the two that do are not far off small house bricks and I came across many plugs that would have been perfect to locate them but wouldn't take them due to the available space above them. You need a good 6 inches clear above the top of any electrical socket, otherwise they won't fit.
