Review: Fits my Mac Book Pro 2012 perfectly - This laptop bag is great value for money. Soft nylon type case, with padded inner pockets. There are three pockets:- 1) The main large pocket, this has a good width. 2) Slimmer middle pocket 3) Smaller outer pocket All pockets have zips. Strong nylon carry handle and a detachable shoulder strap. I needed a case for my old Mac Book Pro 2012. This is the 13 inch Mac Book. I bought the 14 inch case, as there was nothing smaller, but the case turns out to be just right. I used the slimmer middle pocket to store the Mac Book, it just fit in there nicely. The large deeper main pocket I used to store a chunky power supply, and my external disk drive. Looks nice, keeps everything together and protects the Mac Book when travelling. For a desertcart Basics item, this is great. I'm sure the bigger sizes will be just as good if you have larger laptops.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anybody used with British Airways as laptop bag? As one dimension is 0.48cm over, wondering if that compresses enough to fit?**
A: I just (1 week ago!) flew with BA and used it as my 2nd piece of hand luggage. (There's noway I'm paying US$90 to put a bag in hold!). It was fine. My only 'caution' in saying fine is that no BA staff even looked at it, asked me about it, or ever checked it, but then you see what some of the other passengers take on board and a small laptop bag like this is the least of BA's worries.....Relax, I'm sure you'll be just fine!!

**Q: is it waterproof?**
A: It makes no claim to be waterproof, though it feels as if it should be water resistant.

**Q: Why is there a minimum order of 3 bags for this size.**
A: When I ordered this item there was no minimum quantity required.

**Q: will fit 17 inch laptop?**
A: Yes with ease

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing value laptop bag, really good quality, smart and robust

Bought this bag as a replacement for a Targus that had lasted very well over nearly four years of daily use before the Targus main zip track broke. It's the first Amazon Basics product I have tried, bought on Amazon Prime Day at half price, but even at full price is an absolute bargain I bought the 15.6in bag hoping it was big enough as my old one was 17in, but it is a perfect fit for a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop, which measures 16in corner-to-corner, and the laptop fits comfortably without sliding around. The bag seems very well made, I have used it for work for a few months now and it still looks like new: > zips seem strong > front pocket zip corners are reinforced with orange stitching, that presumably strengthens this but also looks nice and contrasts with the black fabric elsewhere > the lining throughout is a sort of mid-grey ripstop nylon, which is a bit scratchy but looks strong and durable. > the main pocket is roomy but the other two are also big enough for cables (full size charging block), mice etc. . having had many bags over time, weak areas always seem to be zips and handles rather than the bag itself: the Amazon Basics bag has strong looking zips (too early to assess real durability of course) and the handles, whilst simple in design (fabric rolled over a reinforcing piece) look well-made. To be honest, at the price it's a steal and you can't really go wrong: I also bought an Italian leather laptop bag from an online auction but actually prefer and use the Amazon bag as it's so functional. Highly recommended to all lovers of quality bargains !
