I was fitting this to a light(ish) electric bike (14kg) so having this type of stand isn't ideal as you would normally fit a motorbike style stand. Fitting was straightforward and I was able to fit it around the motor cable. Now in use it works very well, it's further back than I would have liked but that's down to the cabling on the bike and also the stand catching on the pedal. The height adjustment is very easy - just lift the catch and change the height - much better than the screw lock type I've had before. The stand is also very sturdy and should last a long time. I also ride a carrera crossfire, not sure what size frame though. **Q: Will this fit Boardman Hybrid Comp with 18 by 28mm oval tube?
