I can't believe it's 4.8" thick MISSLEADING ingo = no sale** A: Must be a typo. Here's what I measure: It's 3/32" at its thickest and 1/16" near the ends before it tapers to a thin edge. The length is 5.5" and is 1/2" wide. The V-notch on the ends is too small for the job I had ordered it for but I kept it for future smaller tasks. **Q: What material is this made of ?** A: Security Engineering has contributed the word "steel" for the Detail Page for the material for this product.
