I use the 10” on a/c lines mostly but also have a ford wrench for that that I prefer. The 10” however is very handy for squeezing aluminum countersunk rivets! **Q: What's the main difference between the Pliers wrench v. the Cobra pliers? is one better suited for one type of job v. the other one?** A: The cobra replaces channel lock pliers. The pliers wrench replaces crescent wrench/open end wrench set. Both are the best of their kind and worth having if you use these kind of tools regularly. **Q: Yes please where is this product made?** A: This product is manufactured in Germany. **Q: 1. Is "7-inch" the distance from the nose of the plier to the end of the handle? 2. What's the max jaw opening for a 7" and 10" plier? Thank you!** A: To what maximum dimension can the jaws be opened? The following YouTube video (Knipex Pliers Wrench) gives information on this. Officially the 12" model opens to a maximum of 2-3/8". However I've measured the opening on mine and it appears to be about 2-1/2 inches. The 7" model opens to 1-3/8".
