I am very pleased with it. It is much more robust than I was expecting. I have a silicon style case for my cell phone and was expecting the Bobj case to be similar. I was pleasantly surprised when I took the Bobj out of the packet. It is made of a very dense silicon and will clearly offer a lot of drop protection to the Nexus 7. The drawback of all this density is the added weight, but I think that's an acceptable price for the protection that it offers. We have tile floors in the house and the thought of the Nexus 7 being dropped, has made me very nervous. I feel more confident that an accidental fall will not damage the Nexus 7. The Bobj case fits snugly around the Nexus 7. The power button & volume rocker are a little more difficult to operate - the silicon is very thick, but my daughter will soon get used to this. There is no reduction in sound volume while the case is on and the screen is fully accessible. I haven't charged the Nexus 7 with the case on yet, but the usb port seems fully accessible. The lip on the front of the case is very deep, so there will be no chance of scratching the screen if the Nexus 7 is placed screen-side down on a flat surface. The Bobj case feels good in your hand and I don't think it would slip out of your hand. I was worried about getting a silicon case because I have read so many reviews of them becoming dust magnets - I've only had the case for 24 hours, but so far it seems lint free!I also purchased the Amzer 7.5 inch neoprene sleeve to keep the tablet in when it's in my bag when we go out of the house. Alas, the Bobj case is so substantial, that when it's on the Nexus 7, the neoprene sleeve is not big enough. No problem, I shall exchange it for a larger one, probably one that accommodates a 10 inch tablet will be fine. It's the drop protection that I was really looking for. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get the Bobj case, especially if you have children who are the prime users of the Nexus 7. I got it in Rockin' Raspberry and this color is a big hit with my daughter too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best case I ever bought *by T***6 on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2015* I gave my 2 year old daughter my 1st generation Nexus 7 when I upgraded and really needed something sturdy and durable to protect the tablet from the clumsy hands of a 2 year old terror.... AND FOUND IT! This case is great! It is just thick enough around the edges to break falls when tablet is dropped, including protruding from the front so that if it is left on its face, the only thing actually touching the floor is the case! However I still recommend using a sticky clear plastic screen protector as well as the case. It slips on easily enough yet stays on tight enough to prevent my daughter removing it by herself. The only thing negative about it I think is that since it covers the buttons on the side of the unit, it makes it a little difficult to turn on and off and work the volume buttons. Definitely adults can, but my 2 year old always has to ask me to turn it on for her. But hey, that's not always a bad thing as it leaves me aware of what she is doing hahaha. They also come in multiple colors, and they made the same case for the newer 2nd generation Nexus 7 so my boyfriend also has a green one for his own tablet! He loves it. It has a really thick gel type bulge all the way around the edges that looks like it would provide a ton of cushion.Probably of equal importance, part of the reason my daughter probably hasn't dropped the tablet is because this case also makes it really easy to hold. Even with one hand, the silicone is sticky, both to her hand and to the tablet. She can grab it by the outer edge securely and the tablet won't slip out of the case and it is easy for her to control.The only reason I docked one star is it could be a little easier to press the power/volume buttons - the rubber is a little thick there.
