Once it does decide to "respond" it appears to be a wonderful tool. I've been able to manipulate a design I had created in mspaint in the silhouette software and absolutely loved trying to figure out what could be done. I managed to test a cut of my design which was more advanced than it should have been for my very first time, but I'm hard headed 🤷🏾‍♂️ It came out much better than expected and look forward to challenging my creativity. She was so happy and surprised by the gift. She only used the machine a few times. She used it on notebooks,tablet,cups and a few other small things. Last week we got school supplies for the new school year. We got new vinyl for her so she could put it on her new school supplies. She got it ready to use and the silhouette will not come on. I emailed Amazon the informed me that I would need to reach out to manufacturer. I sent the email telling them the issue. They were very quick to respond. Then I received a email with several troubleshooting suggestions. When I tried them and emailed them back I haven't heard from them. The company seems fine with you fixing it but not them. They are treating me like I'm lying about my issue with machine. I think the 1 year manufacturer warranty should cover it. I'm willing to send it to them to repair or replace it. It's been 3 days and I haven't heard from them.
