The close-fitting climbing shoe has a Velcro fastener that fixes the shoe when hooking and prevents the heel from slipping during extreme applications. The heel construction uses a very grippy, close-wraparound rubber giving the advantage of a shell construction with the sensitivity of a heel that has a traditional construction.
