It’s like night and day. The ink flow can still be inconsistent at times, but I made sure to clean off every tip thoroughly and that helped. The yellow and olive green pens are in my daily rotation now and I couldn’t be happier. I still wouldn’t put them above the Sarasa Vintage (or my current favorite, the Pilot Juice Up Classic Glossy), but they’re worth a try for the color selection alone. [ORIGINAL] My favorite gel pens are the Sarasa Vintage line, and while the color options with these are almost as nice, the pens themselves are average at best. Clicking them is unpleasant because they tend to catch while extending and slip back down, which will likely end up wearing out the pen body and spring mechanism quickly. The ink flow isn’t great, either — it tends to skip, leading to broken lines. It makes for a rough, inconsistent writing experience.
