## Description

desertcart.com : 3D Pedometer, Simple Step Counter with Large LCD Display for Walking | Accurate Step Tracker with Removable Clip & Lanyard, No App or Charging Needed, Easy to Use for Senior Men Women Adults : Sports & Outdoors

Review: Nice, simple pedometer - I am loving this pedometer - it is small enough to stick in any kind of pocket on my clothing I might have. I have to remember to reset it every day if I want to get my daily number of steps, and I haven't tried to use the attachment to clip on to clothing. I may try using that at some point but for now, it's easier just to use a pocket. It's easy to read and it seems fairly accurate (although I haven't tested it). It would be nice for it to have a light to be able to be read in the dark, and I am assuming it's not water-resistant (I would love to use it when I do water aerobics), but I don't think there was any information that it came with that would tell me yes or no.
Review: Simple and strong clip - Just clipped it on and noticed how strong the clip is. Wonderful! No programming. Just counts steps and that's all I need. Seems accurate. I'll add to this review after a few days then months, but I'm thrilled at this point. Update: After a few days I'm very satisfied. Tracks only deliberate steps. Goes into sleep mode when I use my under desk cycle. Fabulous! If you need to track calories or distance, or require memory (prior days steps), this might not be ideal for you. This is a straight forward step counter without memory or auto functions. The reset button is perfectly placed and responds to a 3-second hold so no issue accidentally resetting. My ideal step tracker.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is my step count inaccurate when using a pedometer?**
A: The pedometer may not count steps correctly in the following conditions 1.During irregular motions (e.g., body swaying and shaking) 2.When using walking aids or moving with slow/light steps 3.While riding vehicles like public buses, trains, or cars

**Q: How do I use a pedometer correctly?**
A: It is recommended to clip pedometer to the front of your waist for more accurate step counts

**Q: Why is my pedometer not working?**
A: This is normal. To prevent counting non-walking movements, your pedometer has a 10-step start delay. It will only begin displaying the count after you take 10 continuous steps. Then, it will add all steps (from the first one) to your total.

**Q: How to install belt clip?**
A: To install the clip back on the unit by sliding the clip into the slot on the backside of the unit until a 'click' soundisheard. If you need picture instructions, please refer to the user manual.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pedometer - clip not as great
*by S***E on September 6, 2026*

The pedometer is great - very simple, screen is easy to read, and you can choose to clip it to your clothing or wear it on a provided lanyard around your neck, all at a great price. My problem is the clip. I returned my first, thinking the clip was broken because I tried and tried but could not make it work. The replacement looked the same, so I struggled again to attach it. Finally it somehow clicked into place, so I can use the pedometer and love it. But when it is time to change the battery, I will have to remove the clip and go through that headache again. They need to come up with a better way for the clip to go on and off, or redesign the clip. Otherwise, fantastic pedometer and I am glad I got it! When you get one, push the very short end of the clip (long end pointed across the long end of the pedometer) inside the place where it goes and wiggle it until you get lucky and it clicks.
