## Description

Product Description The innovative features of the Triflex drawing table by Studio Designs make it a unique addition to your office or studio. The inch dual tilt design" adjusts from standard desk top height of 31 inch to a standing desk height of 39.5". the side handles allow you to lock into these positions for your various needs and projects. It also allows the tabletop to tilt up to 22 degrees in the standing position or up to 68 degrees in the sitting position. The near vertical tilt makes it the perfect art table when using art pencils or pastels. The dust and excess residue can effortlessly be wiped to fall on the ground. The ingenious versatility of this table makes it three desks in one. It can be used as a writing, drafting or stand up desk. Light pad support bars (sold separately item # 10074) can also be added to make it a light table. Safety Warning Always assemble and use the desk according to the provided instructions. Keep the desk on a stable surface and avoid placing heavy objects on the edges to prevent tipping. Be cautious when adjusting the height and tilt to avoid injury. Keep small parts out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the desk if any parts are damaged or missing.

Review: This table was exactly what I needed for small stained glass painting projects. Building the table was very straight forward and I did it by myself in about 30 or 40 minutes with no problems. I didn't think I was going to like the plastic side trays but I actually love them. It's nice to have a place to stand brushes up as I go back and forth between them, and my tool caddy isn't taking up space on my work surface. I also purchased the support bars (#10074) so that I could place one of my light pads underneath. The bars fit perfectly and I'm including two photos taken from below to show how they support a light pad. I was able to cram as second, very thin light pad above the first one, just to illuminate my paint pallet- but it's not optimal for most other uses because the table frame cuts through the middle of that space as seen in one of the other photos I loaded up. I had to take the table top off to install the bars because they arrived a few days later but it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend that if you think you'll be adding the support bars later, don't throw away the allen wrench that comes in the box with the desk. You'll need it to disassemble and re-assemble the desk top. If you do, it's a 5/32 size. I guess you can figure out how I know this and why I think it's important to not discard it... Also- related to the support bars for your light pad, you should know that the bars can only be installed on the left side of this table because there are no holes pre-drilled in the frame on the right side. That's fine if you're right-handed like me, but if you're left-handed and use your light pad a lot, you'd probably feel confined to the left side of the desk and your left elbow will likely be laying across the plastic caddy- and perhaps even off the side of the table. I suppose new holes can be drilled on the right side, but I would be frustrated if I had to drill holes just to accommodate my left handed-ness. For seating, I think something that swivels, can be raised/lowered, has an adjustable foot rest and has smooth casters would work best for a table like this, which has so many heights and positions. The table is stable enough when it's low and flat but it's not the kind of table you want to lean hard on to move your chair if your feet can't reach the floor easily or if you need to twist around. After trying different chairs I had around the house, I ended up buying a big cushy backless rolling stool like the ones found in a doctor's exam room. It can go up or down, has an adjustable footrest and rolls. I LOVE it. It works for any table position and is very comfortable. Just a recommendation. Lastly- because the surface is glass, you might have to come up with a pleasing system of cord storage. I have 5 cords leading to my table- my lamp, 2 light pads, my computer power cord, my phone charging cord and a fan that directs the dust away from the work area. I ended up purchasing the Cable Management Box Organizer by Melca, here on desertcart. I put my power strip inside and plugged everything in, wrapped the excess cordage up, put them in and closed the top. I ran the cords out of the slot in the box to the places they needed to be. It's a good, neat system and the cords don't distract me while I'm working and look through the table. I hope this is helpful. I'm happy to answer questions.
Review: This is both beautiful and functional. My studio has a traditional table but this is for the family room looks awesome but is sturdy, functional and was easily put together. Love the sit stand function and don’t mine it being manual. Would recommend highly

I'm an illustrator and Certified Zentangle Teacher so having this table was a necessity. Beautiful blue glass set within the perfectly sized drafting table for my special drawing corner. I'm using an adjustable stool so I can sit or stand with or without the stool when creating. Though the holes in the side trays are tool small to hold my professional drawing pens (Sakura Micron) I am still able to lay the pens down and stand my pencils instead. This is a wonderful table. I like its smaller size while still being able to do larger pieces without too much trouble. The pencil lip can be up or down for convenience. My only complaint is the plastic handle used to tighten the table in the up position. It feels like it will not withstand the test of time. If it doesn't, I'll return to update my review. For now, I love my Christmas present.
