These work really well. I was surprised that, with a bit of trial and error, I could even pick up a post-it-note from the floor and other small things. They fold up very nicely. Do be aware that they are not very light. But they are very solid. I could lift 1 kg water bottles. I was also able to open the drawer on the bottom of my really old stove/oven (a combination that they seem to call a "range" these days), and grab a frying pan around the handle and bring it up to the stovetop. After cooking and cleaning I could do the reverse and get the pan back in the drawer. Also: no more tears when I dropped something on the floor - completely out of reach! Really helpful!
