## Description

Review: Lovely dye! - Love! I found a pair of grey uggs for cheap at goodwill that I decided to try this on and it applied beautifully. I will need to buy another bottle for a second coat, one bottle was barely enough for one coat on both boots. The suede soaked the dye up greedily and thus I went through the dye quicker than expected. I didn't notice any odor or fumes from the dye so that was nice. Quality of the dye seems great, is a little darker purple than I expected but I started with a darker suede so that makes sense. After one coat it is a little patchy but I am hopeful it'll even out once I am able to get another coat on. I brushed the boots before and after dying and I'm very happy with the results thus far. Will update my review once I apply a second coat. I'm including before and after photos.
Review: The most BEAUTIFUL cobalt blue - This dye breathed new life into an old pair of adidas gazelles. They were originally a nice royal blue suede but over the last 3 years they have faded into a dull gray. This product completely restored them to the most brilliant blue - better than the original. This is the blue of my DREAMS. Yes, the dye is runny - because it’s dye, not paint. If you’ve ever used an aquarelle kit, this is the same watery consistency. Gorgeous color payoff after one coat, but I followed directions and did two. The shoes looked nearly black after application but dried down to the most brilliant, beautiful cobalt blue. The toes ended up slightly darker because they were kind of dark and dirty to begin with but I’m not mad about it as I didn’t take the time to deep clean them beforehand (I did go over them with an eraser and brush out the nap though). A word of caution: THIS STUFF WILL STAIN. Despite using painters tape on the bits I didn’t want to turn blue, I ended up getting a fair amount of drips on the white stripes and the soles. I was able to soak some bits of paper napkins in bleach (scrubbing bubbles foaming bleach, to be exact) squeeze out the excess and press them onto the stains like plaster. After they dried, I peeled them off and the stains were gone. I had to repeat this on a couple of really dark stains but in the end they all came out. The foaming bleach also took out the blue stains in my white sink after I stupidly tried to rinse out the little wool applicator and inadvertently turned my sink blue. So, bleach does work on non-porous and semi-porous surfaces. However, if you drip this on clothes I don’t think any amount of bleach will save you. All in all - EXCELLENT product when used correctly. 10/10 Highly recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most BEAUTIFUL cobalt blue

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Works Well!
*by V***E on July 26, 2026*

I purchased a beautiful pair of almond colored suede shoes. Since they were suede, I knew I needed to spray some weather protectant on them; which I did, but apparently not enough, because I ended up with a grease stain on one of the shoes that I was unable to clean off in my efforts to clean it. I probably rubbed too hard and thought I had completely ruined these shoes. I was able to see them with Angelus Suede Dye & Dressing! The deep, rich black color is very nice, and helps me not be overly concerned about getting stains on the shoes, like I was when they had the very light beige/almond color. I would’ve paid in the neighborhood of $50 to have a shoe repair store dye them for me. I just took my time and made sure that I didn’t miss any spots. I am glad I purchased two bottles instead of just one. It takes more than one coding to get the proper coverage, especially when dealing with suede.I wear a men’s size 9 and used probably 75% of the bottle on one shoe. I also dyed the shoe strings. I will be able to pair my now black suede shoes with more outfits then the beige. I would definitely buy this product again.
