## Description

At a glance, this mug might look like your everyday drinking vessel, but look again. It’s loaded with top-to-bottom insulation to keep your coffee hot from the first pour to the last sip. And it’s a space saver. The built-in grooves on the bottom help it stack perfectly on top of another one just like it. Review: Good quality - It’s well made and I like the slide opening on the lid. Does it keep coffee hot for 3 hours? I can’t attest to that as I drink a cup in about 30 minutes or less…but I doubt it would stay hot for 3 hours. My coffee does cool down as I drink it. I may test it with hot water some day! Overall it’s a nice size for me but overpriced. Update; I ran a test to see how long a hot beverage would last. I filled my cup with boiling water 212 degrees. After l hour the temperature had dropped to 162 degrees. After the second hour the temperature was 140 degrees. Still warm enough a cup of coffee. Didn’t check at three hours because most folks would have finished before that. I did leave the drink hole open to allow for my thermometer.

I always microwave my coffee after adding creamer to get it up to my preferred drinking temperature. Since the Yeti mug is not microwaveable, I have to do this in a standard coffee mug first before pouring it to my Yeti mug. I wish Yeti would make a mug from microwaveable materials with styrofoam insulation between the inner and outer layers. I think styrofoam would be a more effective insulator than a vacuum void. This probably won't be a problem for most people and as I said the Yeti mug is very, very well made.

**Q: Can water get trapped in between the double walls?**
A: No, I haven't had that problem

**Q: Is it worth ?**
A: For us they are worth having. We accompany our pets to the patio (concrete floor) every morning with a hot cup of coffee, which stays hot over the ensuing 30 minutes to hour of play time. If knocked off a table, they do not break as ceramic undoubtably would.  For us the Yeti mugs have been worth the price.

**Q: I can't "add to cart or buy now" for the 10 oz rambler in harvest red.  the other colors work fine. can i not buy this one?**
A: They're probably out of that color. Try going to the Yeti website, they'll probably have it and you can order it direct.

**Q: How do I clean under the magnetic slide part? There is coffee and cream collecting under there and it is gross.**
A: The magnet just pulls off. You can stick your finger through the hole when it is closed to help pop it off. I always take my magnets off when I wash the mugs. I wash the magnets too.

I like my coffee very hot. I always microwave my coffee after adding creamer to get it up to my preferred drinking temperature. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lid is important

The mug is lightweight, well made, and is easy to drink from. The biggest unexpected factor was that the lid plays a critical role in keeping drinks hot. Without a lid, the mug is just a mug and cools off at about the same rate it would in a ceramic mug. With the lid, however, beverages stay hot for a very long time. A full mug will still be steaming hot a few hours later if the lid is on and closed.
