Combat Max Ant Killing Gel helps you get rid of ants in just three to five days. Review: Works As Expected - Second purchase of this product. Most effective if you have some idea where the little intruders are coming from but also works where you see them. Just a couple of dabs in the area along their trail and they will come to feast and be gone. You will see a swarm the first day or so and this can freak you out as you didn't know there were that many but this contributes to the effectiveness because it is so attractive to the ants. In our case you see a lot of activity the first day, minimal activity the second day and no activity the third day. Works much more effectively in my opinion than the popular ant traps. My cat is not attracted to it and I usually put the products in corners or along baseboards. Very effective.
Review: Ants aren’t allowed in our house - We live in an older neighborhood that has a mature ecosystem. That means we have an abundance of good and bad bugs including multiple types of ants. Fire ants, household ants, and big black ants. Our ants aren’t affected by the bait traps and super sticky tape. We don’t like to use foggers because we have cats and I’m worried about what chemicals are left behind. After many months of trying to kill the ants we were desperate to try something else. This product saved our sanity. We traced back to where the ants were coming in and applied this in and around the spot. The ants are very attracted to this product and it only took about 5 minutes before they stopped coming in. Since we have cats we have to place this product in areas where they can’t get to. Product is a gel that doesn’t drip and stays put. Just watch out for the stray gel that might fall on something so you don’t contaminate it with chemicals. We’ve applied this product to inside walls of stove, under counters, behind counters, around hinges of doors, and sides of cabinets. Now we only need to apply when we have a soaking rain when the ants are seeking shelter.

**Q: Does this kill fire ants?**
A: I am not sure but I would imagine it would. It’s pretty powerful stuff. Definitely worth trying!

**Q: Will this work with carpenter ants**
A: I imagine it would work with those as well. I have used this product inside my house and outside of my house and it has attracted different types of ants. I have not seen any carpenter ants so I can’t say for sure but it works on all the other ones.

**Q: Does this work for spiders?**
A: I don't believe so. Ants eat this and bring it back to their nest and it poisons them. Spiders eat other insects, not this, so I don't believe that it will kill them.

**Q: Is this gel supposed to harden? And then is it effective still?**
A: The ants that I had didn't leave the stuff alone long enough for it to harden. But then, after the first 24-36 hours there were no more ants. I still get some very tiny ants in the summer that don't seem to be attracted to the bait, I don't remember if it hardened or not, just threw away the bait station when it was obvious the little ones weren't interested.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works better than anything but requires a little patience!

We have had problems with the ubiquitous Argentinian brown ant at our Southern California home. Nothing worked - sprays kill what you spray, and can slow down the ant's return to an area, but the ants come back worse than before. Pest control definitely made the ants worse! The bait needs to be applied consistently and patiently. You can use it indoors if you want, but I found it is most effective if you find the actual nest outside and place drops around the nest and in the ant line. Do not spray - just bait! You will see the ants start to gather around the bait in a little while. The next day there will be very few if any ants around that nest - if there are, re-apply! If you are patient and place the bait near every ants nest opening in the yard, you will be rid of them. Of course, the ants will move back in from the neighbors yards, so you need to keep the bait around. When you see an ant line, bait it! Don't wait - it just takes a couple minutes to but drops along the line, and if you find it also around the nest. It really works!!
