These are pretty good given the price is the best I found anywhere, they are hex with rubber coating and the minimal footprint stand is included. With desertcart prime even shipping was free which is almost unheard of for DBs. No issues. The rack is not 100% perfect but works fine for my needs. Same with the DBs. They rubber will get some dents and dings but I'd prefer that to rust and damage in my home from not coated ones. I wish I could get another set from 30 - 50 or 30 - 70 lbs but will keep searching. FWIW, I searched all over my local region (mid size US city) as well as online, used and new, Nothing came close in price and quality. Im very sensitive to strong smell - especially PVC and rubber. The stand is easy to assemble, very sturdy and maximizes efficiency of storage space. The hardware and an Allen Key are included but you'll need something to grip the nuts -I found that a 13mm ratcheting wrench works great but a 13mm regular wrench would be fine as well. You could use a socket but the risk of over-torquing the bolts becomes a factor. The grips on the weights are ergonomic for med to x-lg hands and are knurled for a safer grip. I think even small hands would not have a grip issue. The stand is designed so that the weights are easily removed and replaced with ease. The dumbbell weighted ends are rubber coated for safety (though I strongly recommend against a drop-test with your feet). I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to the reward of improved physical fitness in the coming months and years.
