The clear size markings are a good guide for trimming, though I ended up having to go back a few times and trim a little more off to make them fit perfectly. The gel cushion under the heel is especially noticeable if you are on your feet all day. They provide just that extra bit of cushioning that makes my feet pound noticeably less after standing all day at work. The inside arch is noticeably thicker than standard shoe insoles (see my video for a comparison). This is super helpful if you have flat feet and provides the additional support I need. The material is also really comfortable. They are cushy enough to be really comfortable, but the insole is firm enough to provide the support I need. I have flat feet so no matter what I am wearing (hokas, vans, even barefoot) my arches and ankles get sore after standing for a while. These insoles completely change the game and you can feel the support on your arches without feeling like they’re digging in too much. I put four stars only because they do not last very long and you can feel them get thin and lose support after 2-3 months. However, they feel so good before that happens that they are worth buying again and again given the fair price.
