    Absolutely wonderful book

One of the best books on animals.  Huge heavy book full of some much information with plenty of clear illustrations.  Suitable for all ages.  There were so many fascinating animals we had never heard of that it absorbed us on receiving it and has continued to do so weeks later..  Highly recommended.

I was overly impressed when I opened the parcel. For £22, you will get a massive and heavy book full of amazing pictures and information.

    A very encyclopaedic tome

What a tome !  This book is a masterpiece .  It pretty well covers the broad field of species of animals of the world .Animals meaning insects to whales .  It is a beautifully produced book with hundreds of clear , coloured photographs accompanied with a concise text describing each animal .  There are also maps indicating the spread of each species .It's an absolute joy to look through . I'm very pleased with it and highly recommend it to any one interested in animals . But it is a big , heavy tome , but don't let that put one off .
