## Features

- Compatibility: ONLY Compatible with Security+ 2.0 LiftMaster garage door openers that are enabled by myQ technology and have a round yellow learn button and two yellow antennas
- Installation: Wired connection required during installation for power source. Connect these wires to the back of the door control and the garage door opener. Please note that this product is not battery powered
- Confirm Correct Installation: Plug in the garage door opener and reconnect the battery. The command LED on the door control will blink if installed correctly. To synchronize the garage door opener and the door control, press the push bar up to 3 times, until the garage door opener activate
- Program Remote Control: 1. Press the LEARN button on the door control twice. The Command LED will blink. 2. Press and release the button on the remote control that you wish to operate your garage door. The garage door opener lights will flash (or two clicks will be heard) and the Command LED will stop blinking when the code has been programmed correctly
- Programming Guideline: 1. Lift the push bar on the door control. Press and release the LEARN button. The garage door opener will beep once and the command LED on the door control will blink to indicate Wi-Fi learn mode 2. On your mobile device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and select the network with the “MyQ-” prefix 3. Launch the web browser on your smartphone or tablet. Enter setup.myqdevice.com into the browser address bar. The MyQ serial number will display on screen. Write the serial number in the space below 4. Sign up for your MyQ account and add the MyQ serial number to your account. If you are unsuccessful adding your device, try an alternate web browser or visit WiFiHelp.LiftMaster.com

**Q: Worked for a month now dead. All of the remotes still work? What’s the deal?**
A: Sir, I don't know what the deal is. Let's try some basic trouble shooting.
1) Remove the door opener switch off the wall, place a short piece bare wire across the wired contacts or place a screw driver blade across the contacts on the back of the door opener switch - if the door moves up or down - the door opener switch is bad (note: this a low voltage/low current circuit  - you will not get shocked or ware a pair of light weight gloves)
2) If the door does not move when a wire or screwdriver blade is placed across door opener contacts - you may have an open   wire going to those contacts of have a loose connection at the door opener switch or at the motor. One other possibility is you may have a bad control board at the motor. If that is the case, you should call a technician to repair the problem.

**Q: will this work on a chamberlain D2101?**
A: I am not sure my original one went out during a storm I just replaced it.

**Q: Installed/amber light blinking/have pushed all buttons many times/reversed wiring. Still not working. Old one works, but ugly.Ideas?**
A: Mine did the same thing. Mine was a problem with the door sensors. After I re wired the sensors, I wired it back in and it worked for me.  I also made sure the connection was good going into the main motor unit. Hope this helps

**Q: Is a liftmaster 882lmw the same as an 882lm (w/o the w at the end)? just want to make sure since the product i am replacing is specifically a lmw.**
