First off I'm an adventure motorcycle rider that does lots of off pavement riding. I fabricate a lot of parts. This is for mounting my Insta 360 X2 camera to my helmet. The seller's pic make it look larger, which would be a disadvantage. The size is small but sturdy. The extensions are well designed and build. Less than 3/4 inch wide. The incorporated nuts are on thicker tangs so sturdy. There are even arrows to aid in assembly for those new to this. The provided bolts are the quality metal type and comes with the wrench. Saves me replacing as I have had to do with other support equipment that came with the cheap OEM plastic finger tighten garbage. If this is your first experience with these wrench tighten metal handled bolts, you'll quickly find yourself replacing all the OEM crap. Quality product with added quality hardware. Couldn't be happier!

Using this with a handlebar mount on my motorcycle. I purchased to use the longest extension to hold my GoPro Max 360 over the front fairing. I used one of the screws provided on the base as well since you can really lock it down tightly with the tool. I do hear a slight whistle at 25-40mph. otherwise its rock solid and a good kit. Well made.

What can I say, they are Metal, the design allows you to tighten them pretty good. They don't slip easily after being adequately tightened. They will slip a bit if you really try but most things mounted to them shouldn't be heavy enough to cause them to slip without physical help from you.
