So the strength and density is as firm and solid as cardboard. It is not industrial strength material. It is firm enough for domestic car use. I have not traded in a vehicle yet, but it seems it should be sufficient. **Q: Does it hold grip on all weather mat?** A: No. Not without some prepping on your part. There is only velcro strips on the bottom intended to adhere to the backing of vehicle seats. I too have a Weathertech mat in my backbend and I just bought the sticky back velcro strips to stick on the mat itself to secure the caddy to then! **Q: Where is the product made in?
