Review: Works really well, generally great, not comfortable on my nose. - I am very pleased with my purchase. It was out of stock for ages but I'm glad I held on to buy one of these instead of a dubious alternative. The sturdy carrying case is a nice touch. I'm a glasses wearer so getting the arms off was quite a challenge, but hopefully I'll never need to fight those again. The elastic headband is nicely adjustable. The lenses are great, easily interchangeable, and work really well. As expected, the higher the magnification the closer the diatance you have to hold your item to focus on it, so you have to bear that in mind when selecting one, but there's a good range. I'm using mine for micro crochet and it has made such a difference in what I can manage. I wish it had a USB-C charger not an old fashioned micro USB, as the lead supplied is very short, and it would be easier to charge with one of the many USB-C leads lying around, but it's not a big problem. My only issue is the nose rest isn't adjustable and gets quite uncomfortable. It takes a bit of effort to get it on so its not pressing my glasses into the bridge of my nose, but even when that's not happening it is unpleasant after a short time. I tried adding the silicone padding supplied but the glue was wholly useless and the silicone pads fell off in under 5 seconds and wouldn't stick back on, at all. I have resorted to padding with a bit of cotton wool, which is not at all glamorous and still not very comfortable. Not worth deducting a star for but it does limit the amount of time I can wear this otherwise marvellous gadget and is the reason I'm always pleased to take it off.

Checked with the opticiian, £20 for a clean and fix etc. 10 minutes work getting used to the new device and choosing the correct magnification, fixed for free using some screws from an old broken pair from my wife. Letting my son know, he immediately requested my help fixing his pc. He had replaced a defective motherboard and it would not work. Dismantling it we found a bent pin as in the pictures. Using this Vision Aid device, mine not his, we soon sorted that out and he is now a bit happier. Unfortunately he later realised he could have used the duff pc as an excuse to get a new one, much faster and more economical, quieter etc. His wife was happy it was fixed but now has to hear him moan etc. To make this worse for me, now he has told all the relatives that I can fix glasses/spectacles and I'm now going to have to fix loads. One day later and I've already had 5 pairs dropped off on me. Would have attached a picture of the 5 on my desk but hey they are only glasses. To cap it all, apparently I'm now the one to go to to get watch batteries replaced as my wife had a couple of watches that needed new batteries/leather straps that she normally takes to a jeweller. So if you do the same or similar things as me, consider buying one. Its comfortable to wear, has more magnification than I need, the light is great and focuses on the object you are fixing. It doesn't move or drop out like my jewellers loupe. You can change the magnification to suit and the lamp has adjustable brightness. My loupe is a fixed 5 times which sometimes is not enough. And you get a carry case to keep it all together. Great addition to my fix-it kit. Recommended purchase.

**Q: Can you switch the light off ?**
A: Yes you can and there are two levels of brightness. Also the magnifier attachments can move several positions depending if you need them closer to your eyes/specs or further away. If I’m at my machine they’re closer to my face than if I’m hand stitching. Depends what field of vision you’re seeking. Also they tilt which is very useful. I’m very pleased with mine and my husband can use them too if he’s dealing with tiny screws etc

**Q: Does jt need batterys**
A: There are 2 versions. This one is USB rechargeable which already has a built-in battery.

**Q: Do the rechargebl ones come.wth a plug if not what wattage plug do i need**
A: No. You will need a USB rechargeable plug.

**Q: Ate there good for reading and watching the tv?**
A: Yes, good for reading small print. Not recommended for watching TV.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It was out of stock for ages but I'm glad I held on to buy one of these instead of a dubious alternative. The sturdy carrying case is a nice touch. This is a great set of glasses for close up and modelling work. There are five different lenses and the glasses can easily be worn over a set of spectacles. The light is quite powerful and rechargeable. Very pleased with this and happy to recommend.
