Once you turn the water on it the pressure drops and you might as well not have a pump. Once you turn the water off the pressure goes back high. What good is a pump if the water pressure isn't maintained during a water flow? Simple answer is, it isn't worth a plug nickel. This pump is very expensive but it is extremely quiet and it not only puts the pressure on the lines throughout the house but once the water is opened the pump kicks on maintains the pressure I set it at and thats 79 psi. If you're looking at buying a pump for added water pressure you simply will be very hard pressed to beat the performance of this pump. It works extremely well. I purchased an extended warranty on it for 3 years so if this pump fails during this time I will report back here. It definitely seems to be a very well made pump for sure.
