I'm 6'1" and I have to lean over a little to reach the handle to push it, so the push handle is lower than a standard grocery store shopping cart.. I have a bad back and leaning over is something I try to avoid doing. **Q: is this cart 24" wide or 18" wide, the description says both?** A: 24inches **Q: what tools are needed to assemble the cart?** A: I believe it was a 9/16’s wrench and a Philips screw driver. Very easy. **Q: I have an application that requires it be no taller than 31" finished. During assembly, can it be made shorter, possibly by trimming the legs?** A: The top of an bottom of each of the legs pops into the top and bottom tray. Semi-easy to assemble for an 80-year old guy. I will use the cart as a work bench of sorts as it compliments my lifting and not having to carry heavy work items longer distances.
