The install on this product was pretty simple and took me about 30min, mainly due to the old lever handle being problematic/stripping when trying to take it off + me being overly cautious so as to not damage anything during the install. It’s working seamlessly now and it’s pretty awesome/shocking to see how much less later is needed and used on the quick-flush (liquids) setting – The “up to 70% less water” claim is definitely accurate. Below are some additional observations/recommendations: 1. NOTE that this specific product does NOT include a fill valve (not an issue for me, as I replaced the fill valve a year ago and the product works great with it). 2. I’d recommend YouTube for install instructions, as what I found and used was on point and easily understood even though it included the Danco Fill Valve and instructions therein. 3. The flush converter base was the only thing that threw me off during the install, as it was difficult to have a point of reference for a “snug fit”. I took it off and put it back on a few times before realizing that it was on correctly ( wasn’t sure how much the blue rubber piece should depress into the tank hole, but after some checking, I realized that it had dropped in fine). 4. Blue gasket seal looks just fine. What am I doing wrong?** A: Reposition the assembly over the fill tube valve seat and use the neoprene washer on the fill tube to hold it place. Check out you tube video on how to install. **Q: how high does the assembly stand above the tank floor?** A: I have installed 3 of these, and will not go back to the old flapper flush valve. I measured one of mine, and it stands just over 11 inches from the bottom of the tank, about an inch or so lower than my existing fill valve. Installation is extremely simple, and I have installed in tanks with both front and side flush handle sitings. **Q: Will this work with tanks that doesn't have overflow tube?** A: No, if there is no overflow tube, it can't be mounted or at least without engineering some way to secure it. I tested including 4-sheets of toilet paper with the quick flush, for obvious reasons, and they went down fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not as good as you'd think *by C***R on November 11, 2023* This doesn't work well with toilets designed for low water usage. the low setting doesn't flush at all, so I had to use only the full flush. As for installation, it's held in place with a zip strap and is very hard to put in place if you have a small tank. If the zip strap isn't tight enough it creeps up and leaks. May be better to use a hose clamp if you have room to install one. If you push it down to tight against the drain, it crinkles the seal and leaks, so may take some trial and error.
