## Description

3M PPS Large Lids and Liners Kit contains 25 disposable lids, 25 disposable liners and 10 sealing plugs for use with the original PPS spray gun system, an all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying paint materials. Unlike conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, with PPS you don’t have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into a paint reservoir, so you waste less paint. Simply place a liner in the reusable paint cup, mix the paint, snap on the lid, attach the locking collar and you’re ready to spray. With a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there’s less risk of outside contamination. You can also increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent over conventional paint cup systems. Each lid strains paint material with a built-in 200-micron filter, commonly used for solvent-based paint materials. Specially designed PPS stainless steel metal adapters let you use the PPS system with virtually any spray gun.

Review: Worth it's weight in gold - I debated going with this system, but after spraying epoxy and 2k primer on my fenders, hood and trunk lid and having to spend a good amount of time cleaning the gun afterwards, especially the cup, I decided I needed to try this system and I am glad I did. And, I am glad I went with the Large cup as it's just the right size for me and holds more material, which minimizes the use of liners. If I knew about this system when I purchased my spray guns, I would've purchased them without the cup and used the savings to purchase this kit. I epoxied my doors today and when I cleaned the gun, I literally just used maybe a couple ounces of Acetone - just a couple fills in the gun until it ran clear and then sprayed some Acetone through the gun the with air line attached. I kept thinking that I'm missing something, so I tore the gun down to be sure and it was clean. It took way less time and material (i.e. Acetone, rags etc) cleaning with this system. I just tossed the liner and was done. Unless something weird happens, I won't be going back to using the regular cups. For now, I am sticking with the 3M PPS system. I highly recommend this system, even if you don't paint often. It's worth it's weight in gold. Less time, less mess.

I debated going with this system, but after spraying epoxy and 2k primer on my fenders, hood and trunk lid and having to spend a good amount of time cleaning the gun afterwards, especially the cup, I decided I needed to try this system and I am glad I did. And, I am glad I went with the Large cup as it's just the right size for me and holds more material, which minimizes the use of liners. If I knew about this system when I purchased my spray guns, I would've purchased them without the cup and used the savings to purchase this kit. I epoxied my doors today and when I cleaned the gun, I literally just used maybe a couple ounces of Acetone - just a couple fills in the gun until it ran clear and then sprayed some Acetone through the gun the with air line attached. I kept thinking that I'm missing something, so I tore the gun down to be sure and it was clean. It took way less time and material (i.e. Acetone, rags etc) cleaning with this system. I just tossed the liner and was done. Unless something weird happens, I won't be going back to using the regular cups. For now, I am sticking with the 3M PPS system. I highly recommend this system, even if you don't paint often. It's worth it's weight in gold. Less time, less mess.
