It makes the watch look rugged and does a Great job protecting the watch. To me it is very comfortable. I have a screen protector on the watch, but had to get creative with it. I bought the Domeglass Tempered Glass Screen Protector. It wouldn't stay completely down so I ended up using the glue that cures with a UV light that came with my phone's Dome Glass Screen Protector. Screen protector is now on nice and secure and does not lift up with the case. Also, this does not work with a flat charger. You do have to use the puck style charger that came with the watch.
